Rules Reminder – Rule Numbers: 5.3 and 5.4

All for your reference, please review rule numbers 5.3 and 5.4 for match format and lineups:

Rule 5.3

Using combinations of some or all of the eligible players on the roster, an eligible player may compete in a maximum of 5 games.

TEAM GAMES – The only games that a shooter can play 2 of are the team games Double Cricket or Double 501 as long as they are not partnered with the same person twice in each type of game.

For Example: a shooter can play in 2 double Crickets and 2 501′s so long as she/he does not have the same partner in both Cricket games or Both 501 games. They may have the same partner in one 501 game and one Cricket game.

Rule 5.4

An individual player may only shoot in ONE singles game.

For example: with 4 singles games being played per match, each single game must be played by a different player.

Note: These rules are in place to ensure a maximum mix of players in each match so as to ensure a true “team” match , rather than having a couple of players on either team being able to control the flow of a match.

DDL Northern Division – Fall 2010

All:

Unfortunately the DDL Northern Division Season has been postponed indefinitely. There will be no captain’s meeting on 08/29/10 as previously schedule. Reason for postponment/cancellation: Failure of Teams to submit rosters .

Hopefully, moving forward there will be enough interest in the future to get this fun league up and running again.

The travelling Championship Trophy will be delivered to the current DDL North Champions, Balls Bar at a future date.

Remember, Rosters are due soon for the 2010 DDL Fall Season.

All divisions and schedules will be established based on rosters being received on time.

HI All,

Just a reminder.. rosters for the Fall 2010 season will be due in mid August.

Remember, team rosters can have from 4 to 7 players per team. The league format is setup for a standard 6 person team. As such, with 6 players per team, the team fee is $150.00 per team ($25/player) if you have 7 players, the fee is still $150 or if you have less than 6 players, the $150 fee also applies.

Rosters due: for both the DDL North and Pawtucket Divsions – 08/16/10

League Kickoff Meetings:

DDL North – 08/29/10 at 5:00 PM at Balls in Johnston

DDL Pawtucket – 08/31/10 at Galway Pub at 7:30 pm

League Matches Begin: DDL North – 09/13/10
DDL Pawtucket – 09/14/10

Congrats to the Galway Bay for winning the Pawtucket Division Championship.

League Results

1st Place – Galway bay Hellshooters

2nd place – KC’s Tap Bucket droppings

3rd Place – garfield gangbusters

A great season with too many close matches to count.

Look forward to seeing everyone at KC’s tap at 7 pm on June 15th for cash awards and a luck of the draw tourney !!!

Great food, drink and darts will be had by all.
